Middle East Studies Pedagogy Initiative (MESPI)
In cooperation with the Middle East Studies Program at George Mason University, the Center for Contemporary Arab Studies at Georgetown University, the Asfari Institute for Civil Society and Citizenship at the American University in Beirut, and Tadween's sister organization Jadaliyya, we have launched the Middle East Studies Pedagogy Initiative (MESPI) to provide critical, user-friendly, and informative pedagogical material and instruction to educators in the field, and beyond. MESPI will build on two counts: Educators Networks and Pedagogical Resources.
MESPI's "Tadween Educators Network" (TEN)
Tadween's Educators Network provides members with complimentary copies of Tadween Publications intended for the classroom. If you are an educator, please sign up to TEN here to receive your complimentary copy. To learn more about TEN, email us at TEN@TadweenPublishing.com
MESPI'S Pedagogical Resources
MESPI produces Pedagogical Publications intended primarily for the classroom, covering various countries, topics, events, and themes. Starting with our pilot project, JadMag, these publications will be produced on a regular basis and will be accompanied with resources for further resources on the subject matter. Signing up to TEN will facilitate not only the procurement of exam copies, but also the exchange of information and commentary on MESPI's publications and the opportunity to build one's own Pedagogical Publication.
